Introducing Independent Feet

'Foot Care for Mobility and Independence'

I believe that healthy feet lead to greater independence in a persons life.

During my many years of practice as an Occupational Therapist, I have come to understand how important foot health was to maintaining a good quality of life. I was frequently asked by my patients where they could find help with caring for their feet and I saw first hand how poor foot health could lead to more general reduction in mobility and independence.

If you have painful or uncomfortable feet, you are less likely to want to move around and this in consequence will reduce your activity and independence. This is what inspired me to further my health care skills and train as a Foot Health Practitioner. This is what gives my approach to foot health an added dimension and is the story behind “Independent Feet”.

Perhaps you just want a regular nail trim because you struggle to reach your feet or maybe you have sight impairment which makes safe foot care a challenge. If you’re looking for help in caring for your feet so that you can move more comfortably, then please get in touch.
